- Close your browser completely – all tabs
- Open a new browser and log into your email on the web and change the password. We recommend at least 12 characters – Check your password strength here: https://bitwarden.com/password-strength/
- The bitwarden tool will tell you how long it would take a hacker to crack your password. Anything less than 1 year should NOT be used.
- Scan your computer with an antivirus program
- Here is a free computer scan if you have no antivirus https://www.trendmicro.com/en_il/forHome/products/housecall.html
- On all these hacker email examples notice the “From email address” They are not from the real companies themselves
- Please call if you have any questions or concerns
