Permanent Item Checkbox
During this session the SEO Customer Support Team was asked about the purpose of the Permanent Item Checkbox in WorkFlows when using the Call Number & Item Maintenance wizard. This property is informational only. No reports rely on it being updated nor are there any reports that will display the permanence of an item. Fast adds & ILLs are marked as not permanent by default and items added through the Call Number & Item Maintenance wizard is marked as permanent.
As for leased items, one can mark the item as not permanent, if desired, however, it will not affect the item in any way.
Checkouts at My Library vs Checkouts at Other Libraries Report
The team was asked about if we had a report in BLUEcloud Analytics (BcA) that showed checkouts at your library versus checkouts at other libraries. There currently is not a report that shows that, but the BcA team is working on one. Once it is complete, we will post a message on the BcA Listserv.
We do have a report for List of MY Items That Have Never Been Checked Out At MY Library in BcA. It is located in the BCA OHIO > Shared Reports > SEO REPORTS > ITEMS > LIST OF ITEMS REPORTS folder.
