We are pleased to announce a new Two Minute Tutorial. The Delete Row Helper.
We all like to keep our patron records current and up to date. We like for everyone to remove old and irrelevant information within a patron’s Notes and Comments fields. At assist you with this, you can identify patron records with Notes and Comments using BLUEcloud Analytics Reports.
However, We recently learned from SirsiDynix that when you are cleaning out old notes and manually delete all the characters within a line, WorkFlows still sees that field as having information. This causes the Notes and Comments Fields to still show up on reports as having content.
To remedy this, when you are deleting all of the information in a field, use the Delete Row helper.
This helper is used in the Modify User Wizard. You can use it to delete entire rows of information instead of deleting the row character by character. Using the Delete Row Helper completely empties the field and reduces the number of patrons incorrectly listed in the report.
