The SEO Service Center is happy to bring self-service capabilities to the SEO Libraries App. Using item barcodes, the SEO Libraries App is putting power into your patrons’ hands by allowing them to check items out themselves, all from within the SEO Libraries mobile application. This new functionality gives patrons a choice in how they interact with your staff.
**Self-Service Checkout is only available if the patron is within proximity of your library via the already defined GPS coordinates. The patron CANNOT checkout items while they are home or away from the library.**

How do you get it?
If your library is interested in using Self-Service Checkout in the SEO Libraries App, please submit a ticket to the IT Department and choose SEO Libraries App Self-Service Request in the “Type of Inquiry” drop-down.
Once submitted, the SEO staff will answer all of your questions, concerns, and communicate the necessary procedures to get Self-Service:Checkout activated.
